Beijing Winter Olympics 2022

The Olympics of 2022, will be taking place in Beijing, China. The event will commence on 4 Feb 2022. a great number of people are excited to witness the event with their eyes. Even though the event is taking place soon after the six months of the Tokyo Olympics. This gets people super excited and eager to see what the event has to offer. Corona has led to a lot of events getting postponed, perhaps this has gotten the public excited to cheer for their favorite athlete in such a short period.
Looking at the winning records of China in the Olympics, over 275 Gold medals are in the possession of China. This indicates the rich sports and athletic spirit present in the people of the country. China stands on 5th rank among the Olympic ranking.
The location to host the event; Beijing was selected through a voting procedure in 2015. Beijing is the first city to be able to host the Olympic event twice. Previously, Beijing has had the opportunity to host the event in Summer 2008.
The 2022 event will be comprised of about 109 events, with disciplines from different sports making it up to 15 disciplines in total. Moreover, to discuss the work done by China in this field. China has stated that the event will be held most effectively. The idea is to make it possible to host a big event like this in an ecological manner. China has vowed that the Winter Olympics will be run based on wind and solar energy. China has been working to make it possible and has built scores of facilities to increase capacity.
The government is actively participating in this process. China is dedicated to making it possible and has established solar and wind farms. Multiple projects have been started to help the air pollution before the event. The idea is to make the environment better and sustainable and work for a better cause. Moreover to showcase it in such a manner that people are motivated to work towards to social cause altogether.
China is designing the pattern in such a way that by the end of 2030, they will be generating 25% of the electricity through the basis of non-fossil fuels. This will help in changing the climate conditions and prevent them from worsening. About 1 million people have applied to reside in the Covid-free Olympic bubble. Because Beijing was announced to be the host of the Winter Olympics 2022. It was in the curiosity of people to know how will China deal with it. Perhaps the active work done by China has led to such a great audience being directed towards attending the event in February.
There is a great number of people that are willing to work unpaid at the event to witness the Winter Olympic Event live. This huge audience has engaged excitingly, boosting the demand for the event. Making it possible for China to outshine both the Winter and Summer Olympics.
To make sure that the Olympics and the excited crowd don’t lead to an outbreak related to the pandemic going on. China has come up with the idea of a “Covid-free bubble”, this is to separate the athletes from the local public. The people who are residents of China are the only public to attend the event as an audience. Since it is important to keep the spirit of sport and athletes alive without compromising the health and prosperity of citizens and the world all along.
